How it works

Three steps,
no port forwarding.

Your machine opens a WireGuard tunnel to our gateway and keeps it up. Everything that reaches your InstantNode IP is sent through that tunnel, and your replies go back out the same way. Visitors only ever see our address.

1. Order in the panel

Your protected IPv4 is assigned right away and paid from your balance. Give it a label so you know which machine it belongs to.

2. Connect your machine

On a Linux server, run the setup script as root: only traffic of the protected IP uses the tunnel, the server's own address keeps working. On a PC or phone, import the WireGuard config into the official app.

3. Bind your service

Let your game server, website or app listen on the protected IP or on 0.0.0.0. That's it, it is now reachable worldwide on your new address.

What can I use it for?
Anything that needs a reachable address: a game server or a Minecraft network running at home, a self-hosted website or Nextcloud, a voice server, or a server at a provider without DDoS protection that you want behind our filtering.
Do I need a public IP at home?
No. Your machine opens the WireGuard tunnel to us, so it works behind a normal router, behind CGNAT and on DS-Lite. You do not have to open or forward any port on your router.
Does it work on Windows?
Yes. Import the config from the panel into the official WireGuard app. On a PC the whole device then goes through the forwarding, so everything it serves is reachable on the protected IP. The setup script is for Linux servers, where only traffic of the protected IP uses the tunnel.
Is traffic limited?
Traffic is fair use and we do not shape it. Everything sent through the forwarded address counts as traffic of our network, so our Fair Use Policy applies to it in full.
Does it add latency?
Traffic takes the route through our datacenter in the Netherlands, so the distance between your machine and us is added. For players and visitors in Europe that is usually only a few milliseconds.
How do I pay?
You top up your InstantNode balance with PayPal, card or cryptocurrency, and each forwarding is paid from that balance every month. Cancel any time in the panel.
