Is the free plan really free?
Yes. 512 MB with 10 connections, no time limit and no card. One free database per account. Upgrading charges only the difference for the rest of the month.
Which engine is it?
MariaDB, the drop-in MySQL replacement. Anything that speaks the MySQL protocol connects: PHP, Node, Python, Java, Laravel, WordPress and the rest.
Can I connect from outside InstantNode?
Yes. You get a host, port, user and password and can connect from anywhere, including your machine at home or an app hosted elsewhere.
What happens when I hit the storage limit?
A usage sweep enforces the quota, and you are told before it bites. Upgrading is instant and does not move your data.
Do you back it up?
Yes, backups are part of every plan, free included. Exports through phpMyAdmin are yours to take at any time as well.
How do I pay?
You top up your InstantNode balance with PayPal, card or cryptocurrency, and the subscription is paid from that balance each month. Cancel any time.
