DNS hosting included

New domains use ns1.instantnode.eu and ns2.instantnode.eu, and we host the zone at no extra cost. Edit A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV and CAA records with TTLs from 60 seconds to 24 hours.

Point it at your server

Pick one of your InstantNode servers and the panel writes the A record for it, plus an AAAA record when the server has an IPv6 address.

Mail records in one click

With Managed Email, one click writes the MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records into your zone. Other records on the domain stay as they are.

Your own nameservers

Prefer another DNS provider? Set 2 to 4 nameservers of your own whenever you like, and switch back to ours to use the DNS editor again.

Shared access

Give another InstantNode account access to a single domain - its DNS records, its settings or both - without sharing your login.

Transfers

Already own a domain?
Bring it over.

Moving a domain to InstantNode takes a few minutes of your time. The transfer itself can take a few days to complete.

  1. Unlock it

    Remove the transfer lock at your current registrar and ask it for the domain's authorization (EPP) code.

  2. Start the transfer

    In the dashboard under Domains, choose Transfer in and enter the domain and its code. The transfer is charged from your balance once the registrar accepts the request.

  3. Done in a few days

    The panel picks up the completed transfer on its own and notifies you when the domain is in your account. A transfer adds one year to the registration.

  4. Switch when you are ready

    If you have not added any DNS records here yet, the domain keeps its current nameservers when the transfer completes. Add your records, then switch to ours.

Which extensions can I register?
The ones in the price list above. The list is short on purpose: these are the extensions we can register end to end. Extensions that need documents or a local presence, such as .fr, .it or .ca, and premium names are not sold.
Can I transfer an extension that is not in the price list?
Yes, if the registrar accepts it. If it refuses, the transfer does not start and nothing is charged.
Is the first year cheaper than renewals?
No. We bill the regular yearly rate from the start, never a discounted first year that jumps at renewal, so registering and renewing cost the same. You renew from the dashboard for 1 to 10 years at a time, and domains that expire within 30 days are flagged in your domain list.
What happens if a registration fails?
Before your balance is charged, the dashboard checks with the registrar that the name is still free and at the normal price. Registration then runs automatically and usually finishes within minutes. If the registrar refuses the name, the charge goes back to your balance automatically.
Can I keep my DNS somewhere else?
Yes. Set 2 to 4 nameservers of your own at any time and manage the records wherever those nameservers are hosted. The DNS editor in our dashboard works while the domain uses ns1.instantnode.eu and ns2.instantnode.eu.
Can I move a domain away again?
Yes. Open a support ticket and our team handles the outgoing transfer with you.
How do I pay?
You top up your InstantNode balance with PayPal, card or cryptocurrency. Registrations, renewals and transfers are paid from that balance. Ordering a domain needs a complete billing profile in your account.
